Vitality Court is a premier senior living community in Victoria, TX. We are seeking a FT Property Maintenance Technician . In this role you will work under the direction of the Property Services Director and will initially focus on the "make ready" process including carpet cleaning to insure newly turned over rooms are restored to their original condition (or better) for new residents moving in. Here are some of the regular duties for the role to give you an idea of what you can expect: Perform work orders that include minor building, bathroom commode replacements, and basic equipment repairs. Carpet cleaning in common areas, hallways, and specific requested areas Occasionally assist residents with moving small piece furniture and or equipment as needed Assist with grounds care as needed, such as weeding or snow removal Assist with incoming deliveries (receiving and delivering internally to departments) Participate (once a week or as needed) as a driver when residents need transportation to scheduled group events or medical appointments Participate in on-the-job training If you have a high school diploma or equivalent, are experienced with maintenance duties in assisted living, hotel or apartment setting, have a desire to learn, and enjoy working with and around seniors, then Vitality is the place for you!
