Job Description
The Courtyard Rehabilitation Come join our team and start making a difference! Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping and mopping floors using facility approved cleaning equipment and detergents.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by implementing proper cleaning and sanitation procedures across all surfaces and areas.
- Handle manual tasks such as minor lifting of furniture or equipment safely while adhering to proper manual handling techniques to ensure areas under and around beds and dressers are cleaned properly.
- Ensure all cleaning surfaces are thoroughly sanitized and maintained according to health standards.
- Execute outdoor work when required, including patio or porch cleaning.
- Communicate effectively with residents and coworker to ensure excellent customer service is provided daily.
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality.
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly. Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles is preferred.
- Prior nursing facility housekeeping experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to handle minor lifting safely.
- Ability to be train on knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment is essential.
