This position performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, and minor repairs to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities Respond to guest room maintenance requests in a timely manner. Perform minor repairs to furniture, fixtures, doors, locks, lighting, and hotel equipment. Complete preventative maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas. Inspect rooms and common areas for maintenance issues and report larger repairs to management. Keep the exterior of the property clean and presentable, including parking lots, sidewalks, dumpster areas, and landscaping. Pick up trash and debris throughout the property. Replace light bulbs, air filters, batteries, and other routine items as needed. Assist with painting, touch-up work, and basic upkeep projects. Ensure hotel grounds, public areas, and back-of-house areas remain clean and organized. Follow all company safety procedures. Work with management to identify and address property improvement needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior maintenance, handyman, hotel, or general labor experience preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of tools and minor repair work. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors as needed. Schedule Full-time position. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
