This position requires attention to detail, reliability, efficiency, and a commitment to excellent guest service. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas according to hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean furniture and fixtures. Inspect rooms to ensure they are properly cleaned and ready for guests. Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, elevators, and other assigned areas. Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost property to the appropriate supervisor. Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely. Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests. Maintain an organized housekeeping cart and adequate supplies. Complete assigned rooms and tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Follow all Comfort Inn University and property policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Friendly and professional attitude. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift as required to perform housekeeping duties. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
