Part-Time Housekeeper Independent Living Community Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team at an Independent Living Community. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Essential Responsibilities Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, offices, and community spaces. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas. Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged property to management. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Assist with special cleaning projects and community events as assigned. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents and coworkers. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Positive attitude and willingness to serve senior residents with respect and kindness. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
