Western States Lodging & Management is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant to help create an exceptional experience for every guest. As a Guest Room Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet hotel brand standards for cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. From preparing fresh, welcoming rooms to responding to guest requests, your work helps set the tone for a memorable stay. What's in it for you- Compensation & Benefits Competitive Pay - hourly. Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefits What You'll Do Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel brand standards Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, towels, and other linens Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and maintain clean, organized rooms Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and floors Replenish toiletries, towels, coffee supplies, cups, and other guest amenities Ensure guest rooms are properly stocked, organized, and ready for arriving guests Clean and maintain guest-accessible areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, fitness center, laundry areas, and other common spaces Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional towels, pillows, amenities, and other supplies Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or needed repairs to the appropriate department Follow established safety, sanitation, and security procedures Properly handle cleaning chemicals and operate housekeeping equipment safely Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, washing, folding, and stocking linens Work closely with front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and other hotel associates to support smooth daily operations Demonstrate Western States Lodging & Management hospitality and service standards in every guest interaction What Makes You Successful High school diploma or equivalent preferred 0-1 year of housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or related experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and brand standards Strong time-management skills and ability to complete assigned rooms efficiently Positive, professional communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent guest service Ability to safely work with cleaning products and chemicals Availability to work some weekends and holidays as business needs require Authorization to work in the United States and proof of identity as required by federal law Physical Requirements This position requires frequent walking and standing throughout the shift. Guest Room Attendants must be able to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. The position also requires the ability to use proper body mechanics and lifting techniques to occasionally lift, move, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
