Responsibilities Perform thorough floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment and chemical agents to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle cleaning tasks across various hotel areas, including guest rooms, hallways, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently and safely. Manage chemical handling procedures in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols to ensure safe usage. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks related to cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment moving. Support hotel housekeeping management by ensuring sanitation standards are consistently met and maintained. Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to cleanliness or facility maintenance, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring safety for guests and staff at all times. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality setting. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and industrial cleaning practices. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools. Physical ability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Experience with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is preferred.
