In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure every guest experiences comfort and satisfaction during their stay. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hotel environment where cleanliness and hospitality go hand in hand. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas thoroughly and efficiently Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to uphold high standards of comfort and presentation Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces Assist with special cleaning projects involving industrial cleaning equipment or deep cleaning procedures when needed Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction, polishing, and floor stripping Familiarity with janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools for efficient task completion Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required What we offer $14.00-16.00 per hour Flexible scheduling Friendly team environment Choice Hotels employee hotel discounts Opportunity for advancement Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms guest spaces into inviting retreats.
