POSITION SUMMARY A

housekeeper's responsibility is to perform various cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Ensuring all cottages are cared for and inspected according to resort standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning guest cottages, as well as communal areas such as the bathrooms and guest laundry. This includes dusting, polishing, linen changes, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen fixture and appliance cleaning, or floor cleaning. Ensuring cottages exceed standards and are in working order before guest arrival. Providing onsite guest support, queries, or requests through a high-quality customer service approach. Works cohesively with guest service, housekeeping and maintenance departments to exceed guest expectations and achieve company and departmental goals. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of company-related practices. Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest ready. Performs other duties as assigned Provides regular and reliable attendance

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The Housekeeper will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor and General Manager, as needed. As well as work in a team environment with other department members.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
