Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and industry standards Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and care for different floor surfaces to ensure a spotless environment Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or large supplies, following proper manual handling procedures Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to meet sanitation standards Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Use janitorial equipment efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning tools, to deliver exceptional results Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with strong attention to detail Expertise in floor care techniques such as stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards for self and others Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and janitorial equipment operation to ensure high-quality cleanliness standards Join us in creating inviting spaces that leave lasting impressions!
