A Maid or Housekeeping Staff provides cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in private residences, office buildings, colleges, other institutions.

Visually inspects and cleans, according to established procedures, resident living spaces,nurses' stations, resident and team member common areas, lounges and break rooms, utility, treatment, therapy and workrooms and offices, corridors, elevators, stairways, and entrances.
