Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel. This is a vital role that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing toiletries
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing floors and dusting surfaces
- Manage and coordinate housekeeping tasks to ensure efficient room preparation
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and corridors
- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, responding to their needs and requests promptly
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standard
- Keep up to date with housekeeping procedures and best practices
- Meet quality standards for cleanliness and organization
Skills:
- Experience in custodial or housekeeping roles, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as cleaning equipment and linens
- Familiarity with floor care equipment and cleaning products
- Experience with housekeeping management software and systems
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
