Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing waste disposal. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols. Perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary to move furniture or equipment safely, adhering to manual handling guidelines. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and hotel emergency procedures to guarantee guest safety at all times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries politely and efficiently during cleaning interactions. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles, with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques preferred. Familiarity with floor care methods including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards; knowledge of SDS is advantageous. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods throughout shifts. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and safety procedures is desirable.
