Conduct floor cleaning and floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, tile scrubbing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing for clients. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury. Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are sanitized and in good working condition. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide friendly, professional customer service. Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure consistent quality across all assignments. Assist with outdoor work when required, such as sweeping porch areas or maintaining outdoor spaces related to the property. Requirements Proven experience in residential housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments; hotel or janitorial experience is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with various cleaning equipment and tools used in professional housekeeping. Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while adhering to health and safety regulations. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and extended periods of standing or walking. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
