Job Description
Position Summary We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Front Desk Associate to join our team. This versatile position combines guest services with housekeeping responsibilities, making it perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in maintaining clean and comfortable spaces, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Front Desk Welcome guests with friendly, professional service Manage guest check-ins and check-outs Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with reservations Provide information about the inn, restaurant, local attractions, and amenities Handle guest requests promptly and professionally Process payments and maintain accurate guest records Housekeeping Clean and prepare guest rooms to high standards Change linens, make beds, and restock room amenities Clean bathrooms and common areas Report maintenance issues or damaged items Ensure all guest areas are clean, organized, and inviting Help with laundry Breakfast Service Assist the breakfast Chef with service for inn guests (a la carte or buffet depending on in house guest count) Managing Coffee, Juice & other morning beverages Re-stocking the buffet or continental items Greeting Guests and creating a welcoming morning atmosphere Cleaning dining room after breakfast is done for the day (vacuum, wipe tables, etc) Qualifications Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable being on your feet and performing physical tasks Basic computer skills & previous experience with hotel PMS are a plus Previous hospitality, housekeeping, or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
