Job Description
Chuckanut Ridge Assisted Living is a locally owned and operated community with 65 apartments and we are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeping and laundry Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the community as well as working with the team to maintain laundry services. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-kept. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other surfaces to maintain a healthy environment. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented. Manage custodial duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and carpet cleaning. Assist with floor care maintenance to ensure safety and cleanliness in all areas. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Collaborate with maintenance to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Perform laundry services including; washing, drying, and delivering clothing and linens. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning is preferred. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require standing for long periods, lifting, and moving items as needed.
