Description:
Housekeeper — Highland Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia Monday-Friday | 4-5 hours/day Take pride in your work? Like knowing your job actually matters to real people? Join our team at Highland Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia, a 44-bed skilled nursing facility, where you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents. Why you'll like it here: Consistent Monday-Friday schedule — your evenings and weekends are yours Flexible daily hours (4-5 hours, based on facility census) Opportunity to pick up extra hours in our laundry department when available A close-knit team that notices and appreciates your work No experience? No problem — we'll train the right person. Long-term care experience is a plus, not a requirement What you'll do: Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and common spaces Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions Properly label and remove infectious waste Show up on time and be a reliable part of the team residents count on What we're looking for: Someone patient, polite, and comfortable interacting with residents, families, and staff Ability to read and write at a job-appropriate level Understanding of (or willingness to learn) basic infection control practices High school diploma or equivalent preferred Six months of long-term care experience preferred, not required If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and want a job where your work is genuinely appreciated, we'd love to meet you.
Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses/Certification None required. Experience Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
Note:
All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state's specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
Pay:
$19.13 per hour
