Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeper/Laundry Worker, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the property, ensuring guest comfort and safety at all times. Your proactive approach to cleaning, laundry, and sanitation will contribute to an exceptional guest experience and uphold our commitment to excellence in hospitality. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and floor care to maintain a pristine environment. Manage laundry operations efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care. Safely handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols. Use janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning tools to ensure high standards of sanitation are met. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with custodial responsibilities across different areas of the property, supporting hotel housekeeping management as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services, with knowledge of industrial cleaning practices preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining efficiency. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation including vacuums, floor care machines, and chemical agents. Understanding of hotel housekeeping management processes and hospitality industry standards. Ability to follow detailed instructions related to safety data sheets (SDS), hotel emergency procedures, and sanitation protocols.
