Job Description
We are a growing small business looking to expand our crew! We service JBLM, Dupont, Tacoma, Fircrest, University Place, Lacey and Olympia. Spruced Up provides move out, regular biweekly & monthly , as well as one time deep cleans and organizational services. We regularly work on the military base. ~~~ Thank you for your interest in joining our crew! We are a small, locally-owned business passionate about delivering top-notch residential cleaning services. We're seeking individuals who are: Reliable and able to show up consistently. Comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Committed to honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of their work. If this sounds like you, we'd love to take things a bit further. Before we begin, we have just a few questions. Are you able to access JBLM, are you a military spouse? What type of professional experience do you have? (e.g., type of cleaning, duration, any specialized skills). What days and times are you available to work? What areas are you willing to travel to for work? Do you currently have, or are you willing to obtain, a Washington state business license for house cleaning? This is a 1099 position; there are no benefits. Please be aware of what this means. Housecleaning is manual labor and requires a lot of physical work, such as squatting, crouching, bending, walking, quick work pace, holding small items for extended periods, and long periods without breaks. Please be aware that if you are in poor health, have difficulty moving quickly, or do not like working "fast," professional cleaning may not be the right fit. Housecleaning is extremely meticulous, and you must be comfortable having your work inspected and critiqued. Requirements Valid Washington State Business License (fees vary based on areas serviced) General Liability Insurance Full cleaning kit with approved and required chemicals Proper bag setup and equipment in good, clean condition Reliable transportation Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, and lift for extended periods Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in homes where clients may be present Comfortable with pets A Running Start program is available for those who would like assistance.
