In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hotel, ensuring each guest's experience is exceptional from check-in to check-out. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help uphold our reputation for outstanding hospitality. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in hotel housekeeping management while working in a lively, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues Use vacuuming, floor care, and other cleaning equipment efficiently to maintain pristine surfaces Conduct sanitation procedures in compliance with hotel standards and health regulations, including proper disposal of waste and use of disinfectants Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs with excellent customer service skills Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during incidents or hazards Experience Prior custodial or housekeeping experience within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with floor cleaning, chemical handling, and sanitation practices is essential Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management processes helps ensure smooth operations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently demonstrates physical readiness for the role Strong customer service skills contribute to positive guest interactions and satisfaction This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality environment where your efforts directly impact guest experiences.
