Laundry Attendant/Houseman

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant/Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to hotel standards. Ensure all laundry items are cleaned promptly and stored properly to maintain organization and accessibility. Assist with general cleaning tasks around the hotel premises, including guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. Handle dry cleaning requests when applicable, ensuring delicate items are processed with care. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing machines and workspaces. Support the housekeeping team with additional tasks as needed to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping preferred. Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and ironing. Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-presented. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and dry cleaning processes is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
