Responsibilities Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property. Conduct thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobby areas, and other public spaces following established sanitation standards. Handle chemical agents safely by understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and adhering to proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment while following manual handling safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of all hotel areas through vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and trash removal to uphold high standards of hygiene. Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring guest safety at all times during unforeseen incidents or evacuations. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Experience with hotel housekeeping management or hospitality operations is advantageous. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops enhances your effectiveness in this role. Knowledge of sanitation practices and hotel emergency procedures ensures a safe and efficient work environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle chemical agents responsibly demonstrates your commitment to safety standards.
