Description Adecco is currently hiring a Housekeeper for a client located in Whitewater, WI. This role would be on 1st shift from 7:00AM-3:00pm Paying $14.50/hr. This is a
DIRECT HIRE
role. We have 2 positions available: Sole housekeeper on the Assisted Living Floor / 13 resident rooms / Responsible for cleaning each of them and their bathrooms daily / Common areas / Unit dining room / Public bathroom 2nd housekeeper on the Assisted Living floor / 23 resident rooms
  • one housekeeper gets 12 rooms the other 11 rooms / common areas / you clean the unit dining room together / public bathrooms Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
  • Follow work/cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
  • Report accidents/incidents to supervisor and complete incident reports.
  • Attend departmental and staff meetings as directed or called.
  • Participate in department studies and projects as directed.
  • Attend and participate in in-service education classes and on-the-job training programs.
  • Wear proper PPE at all times when performing assigned duties.
  • Maintain assigned work areas in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner.
  • Maintain infection control and standard precaution practices.
  • Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures as directed.
  • Report hazardous conditions or equipment to the Department Director.
  • Dispose of refuse daily in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
  • Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
  • Assure equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
  • Keep Director informed of supply needs.
  • Clean work/supply carts and equipment as necessary or directed.
  • Perform cleaning of fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, bathrooms, windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, hallways, stairways, and elevators.
  • Clean, wash, sanitize, polish bathroom fixtures
  • Assist maintenance with stripping, waxing, buffing, and shampooing as needed. Qualifications Include
  • Previous experience preferred
  • HSD/GED is required
  • Must be able to read/write/speak English
  • Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles.
  • Perform apartment turnover cleaning as instructed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information and honor residents' personal and property rights.
