Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Manage outdoor work tasks including patio cleaning. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit. Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, janitorial tools efficiently. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, windowsills, furniture surfaces, and appliances. Follow established custodial procedures for cleaning surfaces and maintaining sanitation in all areas of the residence. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Knowledge of residential housekeeping practices including dusting and surface cleaning Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
