Guest Room Attendant / Housekeeping

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitation in accordance with health regulations. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests regarding housekeeping services. Skills Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is essential. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality cleaning standards is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks when required, ensuring all areas meet safety and cleanliness standards.
