You don't need years of hotel experience to be great at this job. We're looking for people who take pride in their work, pay attention to the little things, enjoy being part of a team, and understand how important a clean, comfortable hotel room is to every guest who walks through our doors. A great guest experience starts with a great room and that's where you come in. What You'll Do As a Room Attendant, you'll prepare guest rooms so they're clean, comfortable, and ready to welcome our next guest.
Your responsibilities will include:
Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Hilton and hotel standards. Make beds and replace linens and towels. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, and guest-room surfaces. Vacuum floors and clean hard-surface flooring. Dust furniture, fixtures, and other room surfaces. Empty trash and replace guest-room supplies and amenities. Check the overall condition of the room and report maintenance concerns such as lights, plumbing, HVAC, or damaged items. Keep your housekeeping cart and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Respond courteously to guests you encounter throughout the hotel. Work together with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Maintenance to make sure rooms are ready for our guests. Follow hotel safety procedures and properly use cleaning products and equipment. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Dependability; we need teammates who show up ready to work. Pride in doing the job correctly, even when no one is watching. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also being part of a team. Ability to work efficiently in a physically active, fast-paced environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift. Availability to work weekends and holidays as hotel business requires. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required—we're willing to train the right person. Why Join Our Team?
