In this vital role, you will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene, comfort, and safety. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the welcoming atmosphere that guests expect and deserve. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality environment committed to excellence and guest delight. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure pristine conditions. Handle various cleaning tasks such as chemical agent handling, and the use of cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness standards across all hotel areas. Maintain proper safety procedures by understanding and adhering to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemical agents used during cleaning processes. Assist with public area sanitation, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces, ensuring they meet health and safety regulations. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of linens, supplies, or equipment safely and efficiently. Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols and emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Qualifications Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Open availability weekdays and weekends Clean anywhere from 16 to 20 rooms Good attendance history Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Pay:
$15.50 - $16.00 per hour
