Our Whispering Pines Nursing Rehab facility is seeking for an amazing Housekeeper for our wonderful facility!
Position:
Full-time Housekeeper Position Summary:
As a Housekeeper at Whispering Pines Nursing Rehab, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and homelike environment throughout the facility. Your work ensures the health and safety of residents, staff, and visitors while helping create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility spaces according to established cleaning protocols Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and buffing Remove trash and soiled linens and restock supplies as needed Follow infection control and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and staff Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Long-term care or hospital experience is preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and respectful attitude toward elderly residents #INDWP #INDWP
