Housekeeper

Position Overview:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, organized, and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This role directly contributes to the guest experience by creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas daily according to hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors. Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, minibar items, and amenities. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor. Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies. Follow established health, hygiene, and safety procedures. Assist with laundry operations if required. Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a professional, friendly attitude. Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including confidentiality and security.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required (training provided). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 30 lbs. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed. Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced hospitality setting. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift. Interaction with guests, supervisors, and fellow team members.
