Position Summary Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Sheridan is seeking dependable, detail-oriented housekeepers to join our hotel team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to ensure every guest receives a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can maintain high cleanliness standards, and works well independently and as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel and IHG cleanliness standards. Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, and other linens. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and floors. Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and remove trash. Restock towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and guest-room amenities. Inspect rooms for maintenance concerns, damage, or missing items and report them promptly. Properly handle lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures. Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and assigned workspaces clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and instructions for cleaning products and chemicals. Assist with public-area cleaning, laundry, or other housekeeping duties when needed. Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. Work cooperatively with the front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping team. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to dependable candidates with a strong work ethic. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned rooms within established standards. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Professional, respectful, and positive attitude. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Ability to lift and carry approximately 25-30 pounds. Ability to push and maneuver a housekeeping cart.
