Trimming Associate

Job Overview The Trimming Associate is responsible for performing and supporting the trimming operations of the cultivation facility. The Associate maintains an efficient and consistent trimming workflow as each new harvest is completed and prepared for trimming. They are responsible for producing a quality trim with attention to aesthetic appeal, tailored to each strain, by paying close attention to detail and maintaining proper composition of the flower. Additional duties include assisting in facility maintenance and upkeep, assistance with harvests as needed, and production of pre-packaged goods for distribution. Detail to quality control of the product in all areas of production. This position is responsible for upholding a pleasant, positive work atmosphere and team spirit, while achieving excellent efficiency, safety, compliance and quality. What you'll do Sift and sort flower during final trim to separate flower tiers (i.e. A-grade, B-grade, trim, shake) Trim high grade flower with close attention to detail and quality of the finished product. While avoiding any structural damage, as instructed by supervising Leads Running the auto trim machine for bulk flower and sorting flower as necessary Produce top quality prerolls, and pre packaged jars along with other production items as necessary with close attention to detail Package and label all finished production items in a neat and efficient manner in proper packaging assigned for those items. Double check appropriate stickers are placed on boxes and vacuum sealed bags Follow and work through daily/weekly checklists and assigned bathroom cleaning Assist in facility/plant related tasks only as needed & assigned, including: harvest arming, hanging, bucking, filter maintenance etc. Remain conscious of overall facility cleanliness, flow, and function and communicate anything that needs attention or could be done more efficiently Be open to a changing environment and periodic changes in workflow Maintain excellent personal hygiene, workspace cleanliness, and quality control measures to ensure high quality product in accordance with the Arizona Department of Health Services and standards set by Managers Work with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of the company, maintaining a mutually respectful relationship with all employees Conscious awareness when mixing / using any types of chemicals for cleaning or spraying, while also making sure to always wear the proper personal protective wear for each product being used Other duties may be assigned as needed Basic qualifications Experience in trimming with a daily trim rate of more than 454g Preferred qualifications Familiarity with trimming and maintaining a quality standard Previous experience working in trimming and production packaging Why you'll love it here We're dedicated to creating a supportive atmosphere where you can grow both personally and professionally.
