Becoming a reservationist at RVR means being a creative & skillful strategist, puzzle solver & phone tree professional. We experience 100-150 calls per shift so the role is high action, high volume! At its best, hospitality is a form of applied attention. It is the act of noticing—accurately and without assumption— and then responding in a way that improves someone's experience. The ideal reservationist is one who understands when to stick to the script & when to (gently) break the script in order to make every guest feel like their our VIP. This restaurant is a collaboration between Travis Lett & Chef Ian Robinson. What is RVR? RVR is a Japanese izakaya-inspired tavern where the community at large gathers to share food, drinks and music. Our menu includes raw fish, cooked vegetables, hand rolls, proteins, and ramen. Our beverage program features a well-curated selection of cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and sake. The music program is a mix of vinyl, cassettes, and hand-picked playlists curated by Carlos Niño.
