Pacific Plug & Liner was founded in October 1999 and is located on the beautiful California Central Coast with a climate ideal for plant and flower production. We have approximately 290,000 sq. ft. dedicated to growing young plants. Pacific Plug & Liner features a state-of-the-art production facility, ensuring consistent and superior quality.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring plants are irrigated correctly to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Able to understand the use of 1-5 moisture scale. Able to learn different fertilizers and use as directed. Distinguish between different plant types. Ability to be Flexible with department needs. Ability to communicate issues with plants or irrigation equipment promptly Ability to follow instructions ensuring to follow proper procedures safety regulations and guidelines. Ability to work in a team oriented environment. Able to monitor and manage water quality, including PH levels, nutrient concentrations, and the absence of contaminants. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in person, and via radio with all levels of staff. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, both verbal and written.COMPETENCIES

: No Educational requirement Previous agricultural experience a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work long hours as needed during busy season, including weekends. Continuously walk, stand, bend, kneel, as well as reaching overhead, and from side to side for long periods of time. Work indoors and outdoors, in seasonal temperatures and conditions. Lift and move irrigation equipment that weigh up to 50 pounds in an environment that is often hot.PAY RANGE
$20.50 -$21.50 an hour Pay rate is determined by various components including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The pay rate is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards vary by position and location.
