Position Summary:
The Post-Harvest Associate I supports the day-to-day operations of the processing team at the grow facility. This hands-on role is responsible for assisting in many processes including; harvest, packaging, trimming, and supporting various operational tasks as assigned. Associates play a key role in maintaining product quality, operational flow, and compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Packaging & Labeling Accurately weigh, label, and package products for store orders. Ensure all products are produced and presented in accordance with established SOPs. Maintain attention to detail to ensure all products meet visual and regulatory standards. Joint Production Execute all stages of pre-roll production, including grinding, weighing, filling, inspection, and packaging. Trimming Support trimming operations depending on production needs. Maintain efficiency while preserving product integrity and quality. Sanitize tools and workstations as required. Harvest & Processing Support Assist with harvests, bucking, sorting, and preparing flower for cure or packaging. Help organize, stage, and fulfill product orders according to distribution timelines. Communicate with team leads to stay aligned on daily and weekly production goals. General Duties as Assigned Flex into different roles or tasks as needed to support the team. Assist with facility cleanliness, organization, and janitorial duties as required. Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols at all times. Compliance & Documentation Follow all procedures related to METRC, product tracking, and waste disposal. Accurately record weights, batch data, and work performed when required. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal company standards. All other job duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in horticulture, agriculture, or related field is a plus). Prior experience in a similar role or a strong interest in working in the cannabis industry. Familiarity with Metrc. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict protocols. Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient workflow. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and a passion for the cannabis industry, with a commitment to professional growth and learning.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance individually. Must be able to work in facilities with moderate to loud noise levels and changing working conditions. May require the use of safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). May be requested to work additional time as business demands require.
