Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solventless Production Lead to join our cannabis manufacturing team. This position is responsible for producing premium solventless concentrates through washing, freeze-drying, pressing, and decarboxylation processes while maintaining strict compliance with Colorado MED regulations, METRC tracking, and company SOPs. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, quality-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWashing Prepare fresh frozen material for solventless extraction. Wash material using company-approved procedures. Monitor wash quality and maintain proper temperatures throughout the process. Record production data and complete all production logs accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all washing equipment. Freeze Drying Load and unload freeze dryers. Verify product weights before and after drying. Monitor freeze dryer cycles. Complete required production documentation. Ensure product quality meets company standards. Pressing Prepare hash for pressing. Operate hydraulic rosin presses safely and efficiently. Monitor temperatures, pressures, and press times. Collect and package finished rosin. Maintain accurate production records. Decarboxylation Prepare solventless rosin for decarb. Monitor decarb temperatures and processing times. Maintain consistency and quality throughout production. Complete batch records and production logs. Additional Responsibilities Maintain accurate METRC inventory and batch tracking. Follow all Colorado MED regulations and company SOPs. Complete daily production paperwork. Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas. Assist with inventory counts and material transfers. Identify quality concerns and report issues immediately. Assist with packaging and other production duties as needed. Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily goals. Qualifications Previous cannabis production experience preferred. Solventless extraction experience is highly preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods. Strong organizational and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent recordkeeping abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Colorado MED Occupational Badge. Preferred Skills Experience washing fresh frozen material. Experience operating freeze dryers. Experience pressing hash into rosin. Experience with decarboxylation processes. Knowledge of METRC. Understanding of Colorado MED compliance requirements. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Qualifications:
Previous experience in solventless cannabis extraction. Strong understanding of cannabis cultivation and processing. Knowledge of ice water extraction and rosin pressing techniques. Ability to operate and maintain extraction equipment. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict protocols. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have CO MED Badge Must comply with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis.Preferred Qualifications:
Formal education or training in cannabis science or related field. Experience with advanced solventless extraction techniques. Knowledge of cannabis terpenes and cannabinoids. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.Benefits:
