Sunday Thru Thursday Start Time :

From 2:30pm to 11pm, except Sundays from 6am to 2:30pm

Pay Rate :

From $16 per hour and up based on experience.

Follows safety and sanitation rules while keeping the work area clean and organized.

Major Functional Responsibilities:

Process & pack meat products to order schedule specifications either by hand or by various machines including but not limited to slicer, marinade tumbler, tenderizer, mixer, etc. Inspect, weigh & prep meats (beef, pork and/or lamb) to various specifications Sharpen and adjust cutting/processing equipment. Start-up and shut down equipment. Receive and inspect meat. Maintain proper stock levels on production line. Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.) Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, USDA, SQF procedures, etc. and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements Able to work in refrigerated environments, approx.. 40F Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management. Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience:

1+ year experience in the food service industry or food production environment.

Skills:

Ability to stand for extended periods, up to six hours per day Ability and willingness to work in cold environments such as refrigerated storage or meat processing facilities

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including repeatedly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 80 lbs throughout the shift on a regular basis.
