In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh fish and seafood products with precision and care, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Your expertise will contribute to delivering delicious, safe, and beautifully presented seafood dishes to our customers inside a high volume environment and Market. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts, food handling, and the seafood industry to thrive in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Skillfully clean, fillet, and portion fish and seafood items according to established standards and recipes Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures throughout all stages of food handling Prepare fish for packaging, ensuring proper portioning and presentation for retail or restaurant use Assist in kitchen responsibilities, prep, food production and mentoring staff Support food preparation tasks in the kitchen, including trimming, deboning, and organizing ingredients for cooking or sale Ensure all tools, knives, and equipment are properly sanitized and stored after use Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or culinary roles within the food industry or restaurant settings Strong knife skills with the ability to efficiently fillet and cut fish and seafood products Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques to prevent contamination Excellent attention to detail for precise cutting, portioning, and packaging of seafood items Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Prior kitchen experience or seafood processing background is highly desirable Join us as a Fish Cutter if you're passionate about seafood, committed to quality, and eager to contribute your culinary skills in a lively team environment!
