Proaquatix LLC is located in Vero Beach, FL. We are one of the largest producers of marine ornamentals in the U.S., suppling the marine aquarium hobby as well as public aquariums.
Job Description:
This position would specifically entail managing the Coral and Berghia departments. As the Coral and Berghia care specialist, this position will be in charge of all Coral systems (including maintenance and water quality), coral husbandry, packing coral orders, cutting and making coral frags. This position will oversee the entire production of culturing and growing of Berghia Nudibranchs for sale, from collecting eggs masses, rearing larvae, doing water quality, collecting aiptasia and feeding it by size to the broodstock, larvae and growout berghia.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate would have previous coral and invert care experience and be well versed in water quality monitoring and system maintenance. Research and fish care experience is helpful. Plumbing, basic carpentry and previous fish packing experience a plus. Candidate must have a flexible schedule and ability to work a weekend day and some holidays. Minimum education of H.S. diploma or GED required. There will be a drug test for all applicants.
