Job Description
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Tech 2 Leader in Kennesaw, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team while supporting the packaging of dishwasher detergent tablets on a production line. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In a Shift Leader job, you'll be responsible for:
Team Leadership:
- Leading and supporting production team members.
- Monitoring workflow and ensuring production goals are met.
- Communicating with supervisors regarding production issues and staffing needs.
- Training and assisting employees as needed.
Packaging Products:
- Assembling boxes, cartons, and other containers.
- Placing products into appropriate packaging by hand or using automated machinery.
- Wrapping items with protective materials.
Labeling and Documentation:
- Applying correct shipping labels, barcodes, and product information.
- Ensuring labels are accurate and legible.
- Updating inventory systems and recording production data, including quantities and defects. What you'll need:
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
