Cut Fruit Specialist Queen's Price Chopper - 3.3 Overland Park, KS Job Details Part-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cut Fruit Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting fresh cut fruit products for our customers in a grocery store environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our fruit offerings are visually appealing and meet the highest standards of freshness.
Duties:
Prepare a variety of fresh fruits by cutting, slicing, and arranging them in an attractive manner for display. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. Monitor stock levels of fruit products and assist in inventory management to ensure freshness and availability. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and offering product demos as needed. Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and processing sales through the cash register. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations. Supervise junior staff or interns if applicable, providing guidance on best practices in fruit preparation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a grocery store or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Bilingual skills are a plus to enhance customer communication. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in food presentation.
