Position Summary Luttrull Feeds is seeking a dependable, organized Bulk Production Manager to oversee daily feed production operations. This position is responsible for managing production schedules, supervising employees, maintaining product quality, and ensuring operations run safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage daily bulk feed production to meet customer orders and delivery schedules. Supervise production employees, assign responsibilities, and monitor productivity. Provide employee training, coaching, and performance feedback. Ensure feed is produced according to established formulas, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor production processes to identify and address quality issues, inefficiencies, or delays. Oversee quality control procedures, including inspections, product sampling, and documentation. Track ingredient and finished-product inventory and communicate supply needs. Coordinate with maintenance personnel to report equipment issues, schedule repairs, and minimize production downtime. Maintain accurate production records, inventory reports, and quality control documentation. Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Ensure employees follow company procedures and applicable safety and operational requirements. Communicate regularly with management and other departments regarding production performance, staffing, and operational needs. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase employee productivity. Qualifications Experience in feed production, manufacturing, agriculture, or a related industry preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and employee management skills. Ability to organize production schedules, prioritize responsibilities, and make timely decisions. Attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality. Familiarity with inventory management, production tracking, and basic computer systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agricultural production environment. Knowledge of workplace safety practices and feed mill operations preferred. Work Environment This position involves working in a feed production facility and may include exposure to dust, noise, changing temperatures, and agricultural materials. The role requires regular interaction with production employees, management, and maintenance personnel.
