PACKING OPERATOR
  • PART TIME
  • SHIRLEY, MA (2 OPENINGS): part-time positions for
Saturdays and Sundays:
4:00 PM until production is completed (around 1:00 AM)
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS

ASAP YOUR JOB
  • Operate scales, package sealing equipment, and palletize finished cases to meet customer specifications.
Maintain sanitation, GMP/HACCP compliance, and product quality in a refrigerated processing environment.
OUR TEAM
  • Food processing/packaging operation.
Ideal backgrounds:
manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, greenhouse, or fast-paced production.
HOURS & PAY
  • Part-time schedule (shifts vary). Ability to work 8+ hour shifts in refrigerated conditions required.
  • PAY:
    Starting rate \$16.00/hour.
  • Overtime may be available depending on needs.
PPE and safety compliance required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Manage product flow on conveyors; place cartons and lids and keep pace with machinery.
  • Ensure correct labeling and date codes; read scales and verify case weights to customer specs.
  • Manually package sealed cartons into corrugated cases and maintain case flow.
  • Stack finished cases on pallets; lift/carry up to 30 lbs safely.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and assist Maintenance.
  • Rotate positions, work as a team to prevent conveyor backups, and inspect product for quality/spec compliance.
  • Perform sanitation and cleanup; enter RedZone data and attend daily huddles.
  • Follow GMP/HACCP and report any food safety, quality, or personnel safety concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to work in refrigerated environments for 8+ hour periods.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently for extended periods.
  • Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs safely.
PREFERRED SKILLS
(WILL
PUT YOU AHEAD
)
  • 1+ year experience in fast-paced production or food/agriculture environments.
  • Prior agriculture or greenhouse experience desirable.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, adaptability, and ability to follow instructions.
