Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Cannabis Worker to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee creation and pack out of pre rolls, weighing and jarring of flower, pack out of vapes, etc. Your leadership will drive efficiency, maintain compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and foster a collaborative team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality of premium cannabis products within the Minnesota market while working in a fast-paced, quality control driven environment. Monthly bonus will be offered dependent on production out put. Duties Supervise and manage production and pack out teams to ensure efficient manufacturing practices and adherence to safety protocols Oversee that all quality control standards are being met Follow production assembly instructions, track weights, waste and all necessary KPI's Identify bottle necks and other pain points, troubleshoot through these to create better efficiencies Use KPI tracker to identify top and bottom performers; adjust, train or discipline bottom performers and motivate top performers Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify equipment issues and address immediately Requirements Proven experience in a leadership role Strong knowledge of production or factory work Familiarity with following assembly, batch card, basic instruction sheets, etc Physical ability for standing 8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, work in noisy environment Basic math skills for measurements, weighing, counting finished products Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment related issues Eagerness to learn and grow within the cannabis manufacturing industry
