Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to fill Bagging, Debone, Packing, and various other Production positions at our poultry processing plant. These paid roles are essential to ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of meat products. Responsibilities Use knives, hands, and operate machinery and equipment for deboning, packaging, bagging, and various other processes for poultry products in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Perform meat cutting and butchery tasks with precision using knife skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure product quality. Maintain strict sanitation standards by adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and USDA regulations to ensure food safety. Follow all safety protocols including OSHA guidelines and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to create a safe working environment. Assist in assembly line operations, ensuring continuous flow of products while maintaining efficiency and quality standards. Conduct basic math calculations for portioning, weight checks, and inventory control as needed. Support food processing activities by adhering to manufacturing SOPs, regulatory compliance standards, and food safety management practices. Experience Prior experience in meat product production or food processing plants is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with manufacturing or assembly line environments helps ensure smooth operations. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, sanitation procedures, and GMP practices is highly desirable. Experience with food safety regulations such as HACCP and USDA guidelines demonstrates a strong understanding of compliance requirements. Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and portioning tasks are essential. Previous work involving knife skills or meat cutting enhances efficiency in deboning roles. A proactive attitude towards safety protocol adherence and teamwork is crucial for success in this role. $12.25 - $19.50 per hour
