Production Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $12.00 /hour Full Time work available Weekend work required Third Shift (Sunday through Thursday from 10:00am to 10:00pm)

Egg Handling:

Sorting, traying, and setting eggs into incubators. Loading egg trucks and moving heavy racks (up to 500 lbs) to and from machines.

Hatchery Sanitation:

Cleaning and disinfecting hatchery machines (hatchers), tray washers, and rooms to maintain low bacteria levels, often using pressure washers.

Environmental Control:

Monitoring incubator/hatcher temperatures, humidity, and ventilation.

Quality Control:

Maintaining high standards for chick health and adhering to strict biosecurity protocols. Jobs Perdue Farms Jobs Perdue Farms +5 Frequently lifting trays and equipment up to 35-75 lbs.

Environment:

Exposure to high temperatures ( - ), high humidity (up to 100%), and loud noise levels.

Production Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Ability to read and interpret, or follow, written/verbal instructions (SOPs).
