Job Summary Astra Foods is an elite cheese steak preferred manufacturer providing the finest quality of beef and chicken products. We are seeking motivated employees for our busy plants at our Aston, PA and our Upper Darby, PA locations. In this energized role, you will be an essential part of the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will operate various manufacturing and packaging equipment, interpret production documents, and adhere to strict safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Positions We Are Hiring For:
Machine Operator Loader Packagers Skills Experience operating packaging equipment and material handling tools Assist machine operators and loaders with packaging product for customer Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting industrial machinery. Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments, including heavy lifting techniques and safety protocol adherence. Warehouse experience including inventory management and warehouse operations. Ability to perform assembly tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Ability to read, understand, and follow production schedules, SOPs, and safety guidelines. Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more Machine Operators- ability to read English, trouble shoot machines Ability to stand for long periods of time Work Environment Cold temperatures: 40°F-45°F in refrigerated processing areas and 0 degrees in freezers Wet, noisy environment with exposure to raw meat and cleaning chemicals. Shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
Work Schedule :
Monday through Friday, Saturdays when needed. 6 am start time. Expected hours 40-55 per week If you are passionate about manufacturing processes and have the skills required for this role, we encourage you to apply and become an integral part of our team!

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
