Job Description
Color Me Mine is looking for a Studio Manager to join our team! This would be a perfect fit for someone with some management experience who wants to build their skills while working in a creative environment! Our ideal candidate will be outgoing, reliable, a multi-tasker, good at creative problem-solving and organization, team management and task delegation, and have very strong customer service skills. Applicants must have evening and weekend availability and be willing to host parties and events for children and adults. Retail, customer service, or restaurant experience at the management/supervisor level is a big plus. Painting or other art experience, experience working with children, and social media and computer skills are not required but are recommended. Duties and Responsibilities Assists the owner/operator with opening and closing procedures or performs opening and closing procedures when the owner/operator is not present. Maintains merchandising of all products. Adheres and enforces all Color Me Mine philosophies, policies and procedures. Maintains the overall cleanliness of the studio. Schedules employees. Maintains high quality standards for finished pieces Checks product stock and replenishes as needed. Maintains high quality customer service standards. Handles sales transactions and manages cash register operations (including opening and closing the register). Delegates responsibilities to other Color Me Mine employees. Makes decisions regarding studio maintenance (burned-out light bulbs, basic kiln maintenance, etc.). Implements and enforces all studio safety policies. Is familiar with Color Me Mine products which are sold in the studio. Understands all product usage techniques. Performs employee appraisals. Performs counseling and corrective action on employees as needed. Performs inventories, as needed. Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly completion of paperwork. Implement and executes all marketing directives. Accountable for accurate payroll reporting. Maintains good working relationships with distributors. Represents Color Me Mine in a friendly and professional manner. Greets customers at the door and is available to answer any questions they have while making their ceramic pieces.
