Join the Bell & Evans Team! Bell & Evans is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Production Team . As a General Production Associate , you will play an important role in producing high-quality poultry products while maintaining our commitment to food safety, quality, and animal welfare. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to working safely as part of a team. What You'll Do Perform a variety of poultry processing tasks in accordance with safety, quality, and production standards. Handle and process poultry products, including working with live poultry or raw chicken, depending on the assigned department.
Perform duties such as:
Deboning Cutting and trimming Packing and weighing products Product handling and inspection Moving materials throughout the production process Maintain product quality by following established food safety and quality procedures. Keep your work area clean while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation requirements. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications Preferred:
Previous poultry processing experience, or Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
Successful candidates will also have:
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Willingness to learn new tasks and work in different departments as business needs require. Commitment to workplace safety and product quality. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, and arms. Comfortable working around industrial machinery and equipment. Willingness to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy areas. Ability to work with live poultry or raw chicken, depending on the department assignment.
