Meat Processing Production Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Meat Processing Associate to join our production team. This role is responsible for preparing, processing, and packaging meat products, including sausage making, grinding burgers, and producing company-branded items. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, follows strict food safety standards, and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Compensation:

$20 hourly

Responsibilities:

Operate meat processing equipment such as grinders, mixers, and sausage stuffers Prepare and grind meats according to production specifications Measure, mix, and season ingredients for sausage and other products Produce and package company-branded meat products following recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment Follow all food safety, USDA, and company regulations Monitor product quality and report any inconsistencies or issues Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

Qualifications:

Previous experience in meat processing, butchery, or food production preferred (not required) Ability to safely operate processing equipment Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods Physical ability to lift 40-60 lbs and stand for long periods Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards Reliable attendance and strong work ethic About Company Weaver's of Wellsville is a fifth-generation, family-owned provisions company based in Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Valley, built on a tradition of quality and craftsmanship.
