Grinder/Shop Labor- Job Description
- Join our dynamic team at the Dallas plant where you will play a crucial role in the production process as a Grinder Loader. You will be responsible for regrinding materials to be reused in production, ensuring efficiency and quality in our operations.
- Responsibilities
- + Operate extrusion machinery to weigh inventory and follow the grinding schedule.
+ Load materials into the grinder and convert them into pellet form for reprocessing. + Stage materials for upcoming jobs to ensure smooth production flow. + Perform cleanup in production and storage areas to maintain a safe and organized environment. + Adhere to plant safety rules and wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and gloves. + Prioritize tasks effectively and anticipate needs to manage time efficiently. + Adapt to changes in the work environment and handle multiple competing demands calmly and logically.
- Essential Skills
- + High school diploma or equivalency. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Strong understanding of basic math for quick and accurate calculations. + Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization. + Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. + Comfortable working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience in production, machine operation, and quality assurance. + Forklift experience and previous machine operating experience are a plus. + Understanding of reading and interpreting work orders.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
